Sunrise or not, they’re glorious. 3 Comments elsewhere on July 16, 2006 at 4:48 am Evidently, he has his mother’s turn of phrase. Reply dogpossum on August 8, 2006 at 12:44 am I’ve found that I keep thinking about this post.Last night I was cutting up some slightly too-ripe apples (pink ladies, I think), and noticed that they were the exact same range of colours as these tulips. I thought of taking a photo, but the fact that I was actually cutting apples for a crumple meant that it shouldn’t be interrupted, or it might never actually come to be. And then, when the apples were hot and smelling lovely (fresh nutmeg, a bit of cinnamon stick, a few cloves, some fresh mace) as they bubbled in a pot on the stove, I thought “that’s what sunsets should smell like. Especially in a warm climate” Reply ThirdCat on August 10, 2006 at 6:49 am I bet it tasted great. Reply Submit a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
